Young Bucks Make Surprise Appearance at NJPW Resurgence 2024

Saturday’s Resurgence 2024 event for NJPW in Ontario, California featured The Young Bucks making a surprise appearance.

Following Gabe Kidd’s victory over Eddie Kingston in a No Ropes, Last man Standing match to become the new NJPW Strong Openweight Champion, The Elite’s Jack Perry came out and made his way towards the ring as Kingston was making his way back into the ring. This led to Kingston being distracted long enough for the Young Bucks to run out from the crowd and attacked Kingston.

The Young Bucks gave a promo talking about their surprise appearance and proceeded to mock Kingston, their hometown of Ontario, and Ontario, California folk. The Young Bucks then issued a challenge to Kingston for a match at Forbidden Door before continuing their attack on Kingston that ended with an EVP Trigger to lay him out and left the ring with Perry afterwards.

This was the Young Bucks’ first appearance in NJPW since Wrestle Kingdom 13 in January of 2019.
