Monday’s RAW Talk show on the WWE Network on Peacock featured WWE officially revealing the SmackDown side of the bracket for this year’s King of the Ring tournament.
It was announced that the SmackDown side of the tournament will be featuring AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Baron Corbin, Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Bobby Lashley, Tama Tonga.
The full list of First Round matches for King of the Ring 2024 for SmackDown were:
- AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
- Baron Corbin vs. Carmelo Hayes
- LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar
- Bobby Lashley vs. Tama Tonga
Monday’s RAW show featured both the RAW side of the bracket being officially revealed and the official start for this year’s King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.
In regards to the RAW side of the bracket, it was announced that the remaining First Round match between Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio will be taking place at a house show event this weekend. The winner of this match will face Gunther in the Quarterfinal Round of this year’s tournament.

In regards to this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament, it was also announced that the remaining First Round match between Shayna Baszler and Zelina Vega for the RAW side will also be taking place at a house show event this weekend. The winner of this match will face IYO SKY in the Quarterfinal Round of this year’s tournament.
