  1. Queen of the Ring 2024 Tournament Semifinal Round match – Nia Jax defeated Bianca Belair via Annihilator (pinfall)
    • Following the match, SmackDown interviewer Kayla Braxton got into the ring for some post-match comments from Jax. Jax directed her attention at Lyra Valkria sitting in the crowd and boasted about what she did to Belair tonight and claimed the same will happen at the Queen of the Ring Finals between them.
  2. LA Knight & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) defeated Carmelo Hayes & A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) via From The Heavens (pinfall)
    • Ford pinned Waller after Knight hit a BFT to Waller and took out Hayes on the outside with a spear over the announcer’s table leading to Ford hitting the From The Heavens frog splash to give his team the victory.
  3. Bayley defeated Chelsea Green via Rose Plant (pinfall)
    • Prior to the start of the match, Piper Niven came out alongside Green to be in her corner.
    • Following the match, Niven got into the ring and attacked Bayley laying her out after a brief brawl between the two.
  4. King of the Ring 2024 Tournament Semifinal Round match – Randy Orton defeated Tama Tonga via RKO (pinfall)
    • Prior to the start of the match, The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman came out alongside Tonga to be in his corner.
    • Near the end of the match, Sikoa got onto the apron trying to distract only to get punched by Orton causing him to crash onto the floor. This led to Tonga catching Orton in a roll-up for a near fall and Orton responding with a RKO for the pinfall victory.
    • Following the match, Sikoa ran into the ring and attacked Orton leading to Kevin Owens running out and helped clear the ring of Sikoa and Tonga. Orton and Owens stared down The Bloodline before Orton turned his attention towards Gunther who was sitting in the crowd.

Randy Orton Advances to Finals of King of the Ring 2024 Tournament

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show featured one Semifinal Round match for this year’s King of the Ring tournament. This match was for the Finals of the SmackDown side of the bracket for this year’s tournament.

This tournament match was Randy Orton defeating Tama Tonga.

As a result of his victory, Orton will be facing off against Gunther in the Finals of this year’s tournament at the King & Queen of the Ring 2024 event in Saudi Arabia.

Nia Jax Advances to Finals of Queen of the Ring 2024 Tournament

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show also featured one Semifinal Round match for this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament. This match was for the Finals of the SmackDown side of the bracket for this year’s tournament.

This tournament match was Nia Jax defeating Bianca Belair.

As a result of her victory, Jax will be facing off against Lyra Valkyria in the Finals of this year’s tournament at the King & Queen of the Ring 2024 event in Saudi Arabia.

WWE Women’s Tag Titles Match Announced for King & Queen of the Ring 2024

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match announced for the card of King & Queen of the Ring 2024, which takes place on May 25th at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

This new match announced was a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match of Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae vs. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c).

This match was setup following a backstage segment involving Hartwell, LeRae, Belair, and Cargill. Following Belair’s loss to Nia Jax in a Queen of the Ring Semifinal Round match, WWE backstage interviewer Byron Saxton tried to get some words from Belair. Before anything could happen, Tiffany Stratton showed up and sarcastically told Belair “better luck next time” before leaving. Hartwell and LeRae showed up next and started mocking Belair’s knee issues before being interrupted by Cargill leading to a brief standoff between the two teams before Harwtell and LeRae left. Cargill stated that she would have a talk with Nick Aldis about this situation.

Later in the show, this match was made official for King & Queen of the Ring 2024 show following a match graphic being shown as part of the rundown read for the card.
