Hangman Page’s AEW Return Reportedly Set to be Imminent

As noted before, Hangman Adam Page has been on a break from AEW since this past March’s Revolution 2024 event due to family-related reasons.

It was reported that while AEW’s creative plans for Page’s upcoming return is currently not known, it is believed that he will be a heel when he comes back.

Matt Sydal Undergoing Right Foot Surgery

Matt Sydal announced on Twitter on Friday that he will be undergoing surgery to repair his right foot after dealing with issues in his foot for the past twelve years.

“After 12 years of suffering, I’m getting my right foot fixed today. The surgeon has to break and re-fuse three bones, and use hardware to set my toes into the joints. Thank you to @AEW and our Medical Staff for the care. Thanks to the fans who’ve stuck with me the whole time. Love you all! The best is yet to come…”

AEW Double or Nothing 2024 PPV Buys Update

AEW reportedly is currently estimated to have generated around 134,000 pay-per-view buys for this past May’s Double or Nothing 2024 event based on updated late buys purchases, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Dave Meltzer reported that Double or Nothing 2024’s buys are currently around 11.4% higher than this past April’s Dynasty event based on updated late buys purchases after the same number of days after the event. Meltzer reported that based on this percentage, that would give a current estimate of 134,00 buys for Double or Nothing 2024.
