As noted before, TNA Wrestling and WWE recently signed a working partnership deal for TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace’s recent appearances for WWE’s NXT brand that is also expected to include more crossovers involving talent from both companies.
Fightful Select reported that their sources within WWE stated that Grace made a great impression to WWE officials and represented TNA very well during her recent appearances on NXT television. It was reported that TNA officials had made the entire process for Grace’s appearances in WWE extremely simple.
WWE officials reportedly are currently open to the possibility of more future appearances from TNA talent for their NXT shows.
It was reported that several of WWE’s female talents have recently expressed within WWE of their desire to appear on TNA shows. One talent spoken to reportedly stated that this would help give WWE’s women’s roster more opportunities to get involved in storyline rivalries, in addition to creating and getting people talking about them.
One high level NXT officials spoken to reportedly stated that TNA talent Steve Maclin would be a perfect fit to make appearances for their NXT brand due to his familiarity of the process in NXT and WWE’s Performance Center. Maclin previously worked in WWE under the ring name of Steve Cutler.
It was reported that both WWE officials have shown significant interest towards TNA talents Leon Slater and Josh Alexander to work with their NXT roster. Several NXT talents spoken to reportedly had high praises for both men.
