AEW is currently scheduled to hold this year’s Grand Slam event on September 25th at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, Queens, New York, according to PWInsider and WrestleTix.
Mike Johnson reported that a recent update on Ticketmaster for AEW events featured a new listing for this year’s Grand Slam event. This listing states that this year’s event will be held as a double set of Dynamite and Collision tapings on that day.
No on-sale date was given for this upcoming set of shows.
Johnson reported that AEW’s original plan a year ago was to run a pay-per-view event at the stadium before those plans were changed following the company finalizing their pay-per-view events schedule for 2024.
