As noted before, Pat McAfee was noticeably absent from Monday’s WWE RAW show in Indianapolis, Indiana. McAfee’s absence was speculated at the time to be due to his currently storyline with the Wyatt Sicks in recent episodes of his The Pat McAfee Show.
PWTorch’s Wade Keller reported that his sources stated that the reason for McAfee’s absence was due to a legitimate last-second family emergency and was not for any storyline-related reasons.
During today’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show, McAfee announced that his father-in-law had unexpectedly passed away on Monday. McAfee stated that his father-in-law had been in the hospital battling an infection but he was supposed to be discharged this past weekend until things took a tragic turn for the worse.
