PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Vaquer had signed with WWE within the last week. Johnson also reported that those spoken to within New Japan Pro Wrestling confirmed that this was the reason why she was pulled from their and CMLL’s upcoming co-promoted Fantasticamania USA 2024 event.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that Vaquer was in attendance backstage at this past Sunday’s NXT Heatwave 2024 event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Fightful’s Corey Brennan reported that the reason for Vaquer’s decision to sign with WWE was due to she had wrestled for most of her career in one country and has not experienced working in WWE and the American way of life. Brennan reported that Vaquer’s decision had nothing to do with in-ring work reasons.
