Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that Nielsen gave incorrect ratings numbers for this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show.
Thurston reported that AEW’s show actually drew 697,000 overall viewers and a 0.23 key demographic rating, which would both still be slightly lower compared to last week’s show.
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite drew 691,000 viewers on TBS, down from last week’s 698,000 viewers.
It drew a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 key demographic, down from last week’s 0.24 rating.
In regards to notable competition, the WNBA game of Connecticut Sun vs. Indiana Fever drew 580,000 viewers on ESPN and the Toby Keith: American Icon special drew 4,005,000 viewers on NBC.
This time last year on August 30, 2023, Dynamite drew 871,000 viewers and a 0.30 18-49 rating. The August 31, 2022 episode drew 1,020,000 viewers and a 0.34 rating.
