As noted before, ESPN broadcaster Joe Tessitore was recently hired by WWE for a commentary job in their company. Tessitore was originally announced to be joining WWE’s SmackDown commentary team this Fall.
During Saturday’s SummerSlam 2024 Countdown Pre-show, Tessitore made an appearance and was announced by Michael Cole that Tessitore will be joining WWE’s RAW commentary team as the new lead commentator starting on September 2nd RAW show in Denver, Colorado. Cole also stated that he will be moving over to WWE’s SmackDown commentary team as a result.
