As noted before, indies talent Heather Reckless recently signed an official contract with TNA Wrestling.
Fightful held a recent interview with Reckless. One of the topics discussed included Reckless’ thoughts about her past work for TNA and waiting for the opportunity to work for the company again.
“I wrestled for them twice. My first match was with Gisele Shaw. This was like a year ago. They finally came back to Chicago a couple of times. I went to Bound For Glory, but that show was packed. I had to wait for the next time and I finally got an opportunity. Here we are.”
Reckless also gave her thoughts about when she approached by the company for a contract.
“After the match. We had thirty minutes to an hour afterward. Gail Kim, she opened an office door and was like, ‘Come here.’ ‘Oh no’ [laughs]. I went in there and she was like, ‘We want to offer you a contract.’ So exciting.”
Reckless also gave her thoughts about how much it meant to her to get a contract offer from Gail Kim.
“I cry about it all the time. Just thinking about Gail and what she’s doing. She’s helping the future of women’s wrestling. It makes me cry. I love her. It’s the ultimate compliment. I love watching her interviews, we’re still getting to know each other, but from listening to her, I feel I can relate to her in ways that I can’t explain. It’s great. It’s the ultimate compliment. She’s amazing.”
