As noted before, The Motor City Machine Guns’ Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin’s contracts with TNA Wrestling expired at the end of this past March. The Motor City Machine Guns are currently expected to be making their official debut for WWE’s NXT brand “imminently.”
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed a recent report from Pro Wrestling Nexus about the Motor City Machine Guns were headed to WWE.
It was reported that their sources within WWE confirmed that Shelly and Sabin had recently signed official contracts with the company.
It was reported that those spoken to within AEW had indicated several months ago that MCMG were not signed to their company nor were they planned to be joining the company. It was reported that AEW officials had made some creative pitches for MCMG but this lead to nothing in the end.
