As noted before, The Motor City Machine Guns’ Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin’s contracts with TNA Wrestling expired at the end of this past March. The Motor City Machine Guns are currently expected to be joining WWE.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that the Motor City Machine Guns are currently expected to be making their official debut for WWE’s NXT brand “imminently.”
No other details were given regarding a potential debut date or plans but WWE’s NXT brand will be holding their debut show on The CW on October 1st in Chicago, Illinois.
This will be Sabin’s official debut for WWE and Shelley’s first appearance for the company since January of 2020.
