As noted before, WWE RAW brand talent Odyssey Jones’ profile was recently removed from the roster page of WWE’s official website.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources confirmed that Jones was not backstage at Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. Sapp reported that those spoken to stated that Jones was not factored into plans for RAW nor was he not in “immediate creative plans.” Sapp also reported that Jones was also absent backstage at last week’s show as well.
Sapp reported that talent have not been informed from WWE officials about what is going on with Jones’ situation.
In a follow-up report, Sapp reported that his sources provided additional details and stated that Jones’ removal from WWE programming was due to recent domestic violence allegations against him. Sapp reported that Jones was not arrested nor have charges been filed against him as of Tuesday afternoon.
Dave Meltzer reported in Monday’s episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that while nothing has been confirmed yet, the current belief is that Jones is gone from WWE based on the word going around from his sources. Meltzer reported that WWE officials have dropped all of their storyline plans and push for Jones after not having any mention of him and Kofi Kingston not acknowledging anything about his storyline with New Day during Monday’s WWE RAW show.
Bryan Alvarez reported in Tuesday’s episode of the Wrestling Observer Live that his sources told him that Jones was fired from the company.
