Místico Relinquishes CMLL World Historic Middleweight Title

Wednesday’s CMLL Informa show featured Mistico officially relinquishing his CMLL World Historic Middleweight Championship after 2,263 days as champion.

Mistico stated that the reason for his decision is due to his body being worn down from all of the title defenses he has had throughout his title reign and wanting to move up to CMLL’s light heavyweight division.

It was announced that a tournament will be held to crown a new champion.

Prior to his relinquishment, Misitcio had been the CMLL World Middleweight Champion since August of 2018.

Mio Shirai, Saran, Nanae Furukawa, & Mifu Ashida Leaving Ice Ribbon After End of This Year

Ice Ribbon talents Mio Shirai, Saran, Nanae Furukawa, and Mifu Ashida recently announced that they will all be leaving the company at the end of this year.

No other details were given regarding the reasons or decisions for their departures.

Besides being an in-ring talent, Shirai also works as a referee for the company and is the sister of WWE wrestler IYO SKY.

The first new match announced was a singles match of Ash By Elegance vs. Dani Luna.

The second new match announced was a singles match of Lei Ying Lee vs. mystery opponent.

The third new match announced was a Six-Man Tag Team match of Josh Alexander & mystery partners vs. Eric Young, Steve Maclin, & Jonathan Gresham.
