As noted before, Adam Copeland has been out of action for AEW since this past May’s Double or Nothing 2024 event due to a fractured tibia injury and surgery. Copeland was recently medically cleared for physicality but is not expected to return to AEW until early 2025 due to his current filming commitment.
A recent episode of The Leafs Nation podcast featured Copeland as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Copeland providing an update on his recovery.
“I feel good. You know, my brain forgets I’m 51, but my body quickly reminded me: ‘Yeah, you just jumped from 21 feet, assh*le. Like, that’s technically three stories. You’re 51, quit it.’ But I feel good. I’m ready to get back at it and to get busy again.”
