Kenny Omega vs. Gabe Kidd Made Official for NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced one new match for the card of NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, which takes place on January 5, 2025 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

This new match announced was a singles match of Kenny Omega vs. Gabe Kidd.

This match was setup following the recent weeks of bad blood issues and backstage altercation between the two and Omega issuing a challenge to Kidd to be his opponent at Wrestle Dynasty, which Kidd accepted.
