Charlie Dempsey’s GCW Return Appearance Announced for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XII

Josh Barnett announced earlier today on Twitter that WWE NXT talent Charlie Dempsey will be making a return appearance to Game Changer Wrestling for their Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XII event on November 24th in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Barnett announced that Dempsey will be facing off against AKIRA in a match at the event.

Two wrestlers returning to Josh Barnett's: Bloodsport.

Both men coming back from a loss in Bloodsport XI.

Both hungry for the taste of victory.

Davey Boy Smith Jr. Reveals His AJPW Contract Expires in January 2025

A recent episode of SportsNet’s The Big Show with Rusic and Rose show featured current AJPW Triple Crown Champion Davey Boy Smith Jr. as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Smith Jr. revealing that his contract with All Japan Pro Wrestling is current set to expire in January of 2025.

“I’ll probably be back [in Calgary] in January when my contract ends and I have to renew my visa and do all that with my residence card for Japan. [Calgary] is always home.”

TNA Bound For Glory 2024 PPV Buys Update

TNA Wrestling’s Bound For Glory 2024 event this past October in Detroit, Michigan reportedly generated slightly under 5,200 cable television pay-per-view based on updated late buys purchases numbers, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Dave Meltzer reported that Bound For Glory 2024’s buys are currently up 28,8% compared to this past July’s Slammiversary 2024 buys based on the same number of days after the event.
