As noted before, Killswitch was hospitalized this past September due to a double pneumonia illness and has been on oxygen due to his low oxygen levels in his blood both while he was hospitalized and since then while recovering at home.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported on Twitter that his sources stated that Killswitch has been doing much better for his recovery. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Killswitch has been working hard towards a comeback.
Killswitch reportedly also credits AEW CEO Tony Khan and AEW’s medical staff for both being patient with his recovery and for telling him to stay home the week before he collapsed, which he feels may have saved his life.
“He is doing much better. I am told he is working hard towards a comeback and credits Tony Khan and AEW medical staff for not only being patient with this, but but also telling him to stay home the week before he collapsed, which may have saved his life. It was very serious.”
