Ranbo Battle Royal & Updated NJPW World TV Title Four-Way Matches Set for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced one new match and one updated match for the card of Wrestle Kingdom 19, which takes place on January 4, 2025 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

In regards to the new match, this was announced to be a Ranbo Battle Royal. It was also announced that this match will be taking place on Wrestle Kingdom 19’s pre-show. It was also announced that the winner of this match will receive a future shot at the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

In regards to the updated match, this was announced to be a NJPW World Television Championship Four-way match of Jeff Cobb vs. Ryohei Oiwa vs. El Phantasmo vs. Ren Narita (c). This match was originally a Three-way match that expanded into a Four-way after El Phantasmo made his surprise return at Sunday’s Road to the Tokyo Dome show and was added to the match.
