Pat McAfee Makes Special Guest Commentary Appearance on Saturday’s WWE SNME Show

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York featured Pat McAfee making his surprise return to WWE for a special guest commentary appearance.

At the start of the show, Joe Tessitore and Jesse “The Body” Ventura gave some introductory words hyping up tonight’s show. After they finished, Tessitore brought things over to Michael Cole at the commentary booth. This led to McAfee’s music playing and made his surprise return. McAfee made his way to the announcer’s table and Cole announced that McAfee came back as the special guest commentator for tonight’s show.

This was McAfee’s first appearance in WWE since this past August.

Several WWE Hall of Famers Attend Saturday’s WWE SNME Show

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show also featured several WWE Hall of Famers being shown in attendance throughout the show.

Prior to the start of WWE Women’s World Championship match between IYO SKY and Liv Morgan, WWE Hall of Famers Tito Santana and Jimmy Hart and longtime WWE employee and WWE Hall of Famer Rich Hering were shown in the front row of the crowd.

Chelsea Green Wins WWE Women’s U.S. Title Tournament

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show also featured Chelsea Green defeating Michin in the Finals of the WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament to be crowned the inaugural champion.

This was Green’s first ever singles championship victory in her WWE career and third ever championship victory, following two WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship victories.

Classic Winged Eagle WWE Title Makes Special One-Night Return

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show also featured the one night return of the classic Winged Eagle WWE Championship belt.

Earlier in the week, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque gave Rhodes a briefcase that he stated contained a one-night only gift for him to bring for Saturday’s show.

During his entrance for the Undisputed WWE Championship match against Kevin Owens, Rhodes opened up his American Nightmare jacket revealing him wearing the classic title belt.
