In recent weeks, WWE has featured WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan prominently in ads promoting this Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in San Antonio, Texas.
Sportskeeda’s Chris Featherstone reported that his sources stated that Hogan will no longer be appearing for tomorrow’s show.
Featherstone reported that those spoken to stated that the official reason is due to Hogan currently dealing with a family-related reason.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that his sources within WWE confirmed Hogan will not be appearing on the show and the reason for it is accurate.
Meltzer reported that Hogan being booed by the Los Angeles crowd during his appearance on the WWE RAW premiere show on Netflix nor anything related to Jesse Ventura nor any other reason played any role in Hogan dropping out from appearing on the show.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources also confirmed Hogan will not be appearing on Saturday’s show and provided additional details.
Johnson reported that despite Hogan being featured in advertisements for the show, WWE officials never actually had him scheduled to appear.
Johnson also reported that Hogan’s son Nick is getting married this weekend for the family-related reason.
