Katsuyori Shibata vs. Daniel Garcia for TNT Title Set for 1/11 AEW Collision Show, Anthony Bowens to Miss Show Due to L.A. Fires Issues

AEW CEO Tony Khan announced one new match for the card of this week’s AEW Collision show on January 11th at the Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia.

This new match announces was a TNT Championship match of Katsuyori Shibata vs. Daniel Garcia (c).

Anthony Bowens announced earlier today on Twitter that he will not be able to make it for tonight’s show due to him and his husband Michael had evacuated their home in Los Angeles area on Friday due to the on-going devastating wildfires affecting California. Bowens stated that they are both safe and same for their neighborhood.

“Hey everyone, I unfortunately won’t be making it to Collision today. The #PalisadesFire started moving towards my home last night and as a precaution Michael and I had to pack up and leave the area. We are safe and so is the neighborhood as of now. Hopefully it stays that way. Shout out to the LAFD for working so hard to try and slow the spread of this fire down.”
