Thursday’s TNA Impact! show at the Boeing Center At Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas featured Mustafa Ali making his surprise return to TNA Wrestling.
Following Mike Santana coming out to the ring and talked about his victory over Josh Alexander at TNA Genesis 2025 and his goal to become the TNA World Champion, Ali’s music played to interrupt. Ali’s bodyguards came out to the stage first followed by Ali who made his way to the ring.

Ali grabbed a microphone and completely ignored Santana standing in the ring. Ali stated that he has signed an official contract with TNA and this company needs great leadership and he is that leader. Ali then talked about him launching a new campaign in which he comes the next world heavyweight champion. This led to Santana giving a snickering reaction in the corner as Ali continued on stating “In Ali, we trust!” Ali then left the ring but not before giving Santana a side eye stare and smirk.
