As noted before, Saraya signed a contract extension with AEW this past September that was later revealed to be for an additional one-year in length. Saraya has been absent from AEW television since this past October due to her currently being on a break for outside television projects.
TMZ held a recent interview with Saraya. One of the topics discussed included Saraya’s thoughts about her current contract status with AEW.
“My contract is up with AEW in September, so I don’t know. Maybe I’ll stay with them, maybe not, I don’t know.”
Saraya also gave her thoughts about her interest in a potential return to WWE in the future.
“Yeah, I love WWE. I appreciate everybody there. They made me. They gave me my career and I’m appreciative of that. One day, who knows. I love my time in AEW.”
Saraya has been signed with AEW since September of 2022.
