Lince Dorado Makes WWE Return at Jan. 17th NXT Live Event

Friday’s WWE NXT live event in Citrus Springs, Florida featured former WWE talent Lince Dorado making a surprise return appearance to the company.

Dorado competed in a singles match against Josh Black at the event, which was won by Dorado.

Following his match, Dorado reflected on Twitter about his return appearance in WWE.

Dorado previously worked in WWE from April of 2016 to November of 2021.


Corey Graves’ Frustrations Over Being Removed from WWE Main Roster Commentary Update

As noted before, WWE commentator Corey Graves recently voiced out his frustrations on social media over being removed from WWE’s main roster commentary teams and moved over to NXT’s commentary team due to him being told “he was not famous enough for his own job.” Graves was recently pulled from this week’s NXT and WWE Speed shows for reasons believed to be related to recent comments he made on Twitter.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that recent reports of Graves had told people that his situation is a work is not true and instead there has been no indications of this happening.

It was reported that those close to him have indicated that this is a very real incident.


WWE News & Notes

As noted before, Tyler Bate has been out of action for WWE since this past July due to a torn pectoral injury and surgery. Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan reported that his sources stated that Bate is currently expected to return from his injury in late January or early February.

WWE recently announced that individual tickets for their WrestleMania 41 events on April 19-20 in Las Vegas, Nevada will officially go on sale starting on January 22nd for the pre-sale and January 24th for the general public.

In a “fireside chat” session at this past Thursday’s Preview Las Vegas event in Las Vegas, Nevada, WWE President Nick Khan confirmed that WWE will be holding RAW and SmackDown shows in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41 weekend in the city.

WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque recently released a video on Twitter featuring him producing The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga & Jacob Fatu’s entrance for a WWE SmackDown show.

Metalcore band Not Enough Space recently released a new music video for their new song “Solace in Silence” featuring WWE NXT talents Tatum Paxley and Javier Bernal making a guest appearance.

WWE recently released two new videos to their WWE Vault channel on YouTube. The first new video was a “True Giants” full documentary. The second new video was a WWE Tag Team Championship match of The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley) via Edge & Christian (c) at WWE Royal Rumble 2001.

WWE is currently scheduled to live stream the full October 13, 1990 episode of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show on their WWE Vault channel on Saturday starting at 8PM EST.

As noted before, Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in San Jose, California featured NXT brand talent Roxanne Perez being shown in the crowd and got involved in a brief ringside confrontation with Bayley during the WWE Women’s Championship match. Following the show, WWE held a digital exclusive backstage interview with Perez about her thoughts about why she came to SmackDown to watch Bayley’s match. Perez stated “Everyone knows that I’m such a huge, huge fan of Bayley, so I was just so excited to come out here and have a front-row seat to watch her fail miserably, which she did [laughs].” Perez then invited Bayley to show up at next week’s NXT show on January 21st. Perez stated “I always thought that I was the big fan, but it seems like she’s actually mine since she wants to show up at my show and stick her nose in my business. So yeah, Bayley. Come on down.
