Parking Lot: Jay White, Death Riders, Rated FTR
Cope isn’t the only one who has a challenge for AEW World Champion Jon Moxley!

Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on @TBSNetwork & @SportsOnMax@JayWhiteNZ | @RatedRCope | @DaxFTR | @CashWheelerFTR | @JonMoxley | @ClaudioCSRO pic.twitter.com/c18bbTeOVA
We kick off with arrivals by Swerve Strickland, Ricochet, and “Timeless” Toni Storm before we cut to the parking lot. Renee talks to Jay White about his budding partnership with COPE, as the Switchblade starts to address the Death Riders…just as they show up to confront him. Jay seems to like the odds as he sees Rated FTR behind them, and we get ourselves a lovely brawl from the parking lot through the backstage area, before making its way to ringside!
Dax is on top of Wheeler Yuta as COPE battles it out with Jon Moxley. Cash Wheeler is after PAC as White goes after Mox…but PAC intervenes to save the AEW World Champion! This only leads to pain for PAC as FTR catch him with a Shatter Machine, but Claudio helps clear the ring of everyone but the Switchblade before he and Mox start laying in stomps. This is interrupted as COPE enters the ring, and the Rated R Superstar charges at Mox…only for Claudio to take the proverbial bullet instead, being laid out with a spear by COPE!
Mox and the rest of the Riders take their leave through the crowd as COPE grabs a microphone, calling out the World Champion for a title shot at Revolution. This riles up Mox enough to head in closer to ringside for a microphone…and tells COPE that he deserves nothing and gets nothing, the answer is no!
He steps away until Jay White grabs the mic from COPE, calling out Mox and Claudio for a Brisbane Street Fight tag match at Grand Slam Australia instead! COPE’s music hits as we’re left to wonder if the challenge has been accepted by the Death Riders.
Video: Buddy Matthews, Kazuchika Okada
Commentary runs down what’s to come later tonight, followed by a look back at Collision at the situation between Kazuchika Okada and Buddy Matthews leading to an AEW Continental Championship bout at Grand Slam Australia. We get further confirmation on what else is going down in Brisbane, including the Dream Team tag match of Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega facing Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher.
Will Ospreay vs. Mark Davis
JUMPING PILEDRIVER FROM MARK DAVIS!

Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on @TBSNetwork & @SportsOnMax@WillOspreay | @DUNKZILLADavis | @TheDonCallis pic.twitter.com/3goQZCZXzh
Speaking of Ospreay, we cut to ringside where the Aerial Assassin heads down the ramp to a big pop from the crowd. We’re about to find out who the newest member of the Don Callis Family is, as Don’s “music” hits to some heavy jeers from the fans. Don has a microphone in his hand an announcement to make, as the crowd lets him know what they think of him.
Callis says this man is someone Ospreay is very familiar with, someone who went up and down the roads with him…Mark Davis!
The crowd isn’t quite sure what to make of this (and neither am I to be honest) as Davis heads down the ramp, before this opening match gets underway!
Rare note of commentary here as Callis reveals he had signed both of Aussie Open to the Family, with Davis still being out of action when Fletcher got on board. In the ring we see Davis get the better of Ospreay early on with his power, the crowd giving out to Davis as they are likely unaware of the curious development revealed to the broadcast audience. Davis, for his part, continues to put the beatdown on Ospreay to a chorus of boos.
Davis takes the Aerial Assassin down to the mat, keeping a knee on him for a close nearfall before taking Will to the corner for some hard strikes. He seems to mock Ospreay with an United Empire taunt before continuing the attack…until Ospreay fights back, catching Davis with a springboard forearm that forces his former buddy out of the ring for a breather as we go to an ad break.
Back from break, Davis is back in control as he sends Ospreay to the corner before following up with a release German suplex and a knee strike. Davis continues the beatdown for a nearfall. Ospreay manages to fight back, getting the crowd riled up as Davis leaves the ring…only to be sent to the floor with a dive by the Aerial Assassin!
Ospreay heads back in ring, where he goes up top only to be intercepted by Davis…but Will takes him down for a nearfall as Callis approaches the ring. Davis is back on his feet, going back and forth with Ospreay until he drops Will to the mat with a piledriver for the cover…but Ospreay manages to kick out!
The frustration is mounting for Davis, who removes the turnbuckle pad from the corner as he looks to really put the hurt on Ospreay. The ref notices this and starts to argue with him about it…until Ospreay blindsides Davis with a Hidden Blade for the win!
Winner: Will Ospreay via Pinfall.
Ospreay celebrates the victory much to the chagrin of Don Callis, before Will gets a microphone. He runs down Don Callis, reminding him and the fans that he is teaming with Kenny Omega at Australia Grand Slam to take the family down…and Omega makes his way out amidst “Omega” chants, looking at Mark Davis on the ramp as Callis seems to make a hasty escape for the moment.
Omega addresses Mark Davis first, saying he doesn’t understand what Callis has over him, before turning his attention to the Grand Slam Australia match. Takeshita seems to be held back by Callis and Fletcher as Omega offers to get into this right now if they want…otherwise, pack your bags and we’ll see you in Brisbane.
Omega says it’s been a long time since the people could really feel what he’s been feeling, but now that he’s back that feeling is back. After the match next week, people will realize the future of this company is not on that ramp but inside this ring! He leads the crowd in doing his catchphrase as he bids them a good night (muah) and a goodbye (bang)!
We get big pyro on the stage, which may have helped run the Family off to the back as Omega admits that even scared him. Commentary runs down the upcoming Strickland/Ricochet match as Omega and Ospreay head up the ramp.

In-Ring: Hurt Syndicate, The Gunns
GUNNS UP! The Gunns are coming for the Hurt Syndicate!

Back at ringside, the Hurt Syndicate make their way down to the crowd chanting along with their theme. MVP says hello before introducing Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, the new AEW World Tag Team Champions! The crowd cheer before chanting “we hurt people”…but are stopped by MVP who says he wants to make this quick. MVP gives props to Private Party, but says they were in the wrong place at the wrong time going up against the Hurt Syndicate. He calls out the rest of the locker room, saying if you are a champion to look out as they will look to hurt you and take your title.
In the meantime, business is open. If anyone wants to step up and face the champions…we get cut off by the music of the Bang Bang Gang, specifically The Gunns who get a nice pop. The former tag champs start to call out the Syndicate, before MVP tells them to step inside the ring to state their business. The Gunns enter the ring, introducing themselves before stating they’re ready to take back their tag titles.
MVP says he respect their bravery and more importantly, he respects their father…because otherwise, these two would already be choking out The Gunns. But he is a businessman, so…next week, it’ll be the Hurt Syndicate against a couple ass boys.
The Hurt Syndicate leave the ring, but The Gunns restate just who they are as they look to gain back the titles they lost about two years ago…and if you’re not down with that, they’ve got two words for you: Guns Up!
Backstage: Harley Cameron, Mercedes Mone
Coming fresh off her first AEW win, Harley Cameron believes she’s ready to take on the Money Train and challenge Mercedes Moné!

Mercedes has her own take on things…

We head backstage, where Renee looks to talk to the TBS Champion…but the Mercedes Moné we hear from is actually Harley Cameron’s puppet! The two have a “conversation” about how Moné treated Cameron last week, as we see the champ herself stepping out from her dressing room. Renee talks to Mercedes about Cameron picking up her first win in AEW as the champ is still without a challenger for Grand Slam Australia, but Moné simply uses that as a chance to run Harley down some more before leaving.
Backstage: Hangman Adam Page, Max Caster
Does ‘Hangman’ Adam Page has any regrets over what he’s done to Christopher Daniels?

Either way, Max Caster has an idea of what he should focus on next!

We are backstage once more as Renee talks to Hangman Adam Page about the Texas Death Match and Christopher Daniels having to retire. Page addresses the situation until Max Caster interrupts, needling Page over taking out Daniels and seeing if he’d be willing to do the same to Bowens or Billy Gunn…but Page offers to put him in the hospital instead, forcing the “Best Rapper Alive” to make his exit as we cut away.
International All-Star Tag Team Match
Hounds of Hell (Buddy Matthews & Brody King) vs. Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher)
Who can stop Buddy Matthews?!

Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on @TBSNetwork & @SportsOnMax@SNM_Buddy | @BrodyXKing | @takesoup | @KyleFletcherPro | @TheDonCallis pic.twitter.com/ewr7J5Ecje
We start off with Matthews and Fletcher, the two staring each other down before locking up. Fletcher takes control quickly, even as Buddy tries to fight out of his grasp. Matthews counters the pressure on Kyle, sending him to the mat as a result. Fletcher fights back to his feet, only to be sent to the canvas with a headlock takedown by Matthews.
Fletcher sends him to the ropes before hitting a sunset flip, but Matthews nearly catches him with a running kick to keep him at bay! Tag made to Takeshita, who goes after Matthews until he’s sent to the ropes for a tag made to Brody King. The two big men of the match go at it, sending the action to the outside as they lay into each other. Matthews and Fletcher go at it on the opposite side, leading to a bit of chaos as King goes after Fletcher AND Takeshita with chops against the barricade…before slamming into both men with a big cross body!
He brings Takeshita up to his feet, laying into the International Champion with chops before propping him and Fletcher back onto a chair for another massive cross body, sending them back into the barricade once more as we go to an ad break.
Back from break, King is taken down hard as he looks for a tag to Matthews…but Takeshita keeps him away long enough to knock Buddy off the apron instead. He turns around to find himself on the wrong end of a big lariat from King, who brings the champ back to his feet…only for Takeshita to catch him with a release German suplex! But he’s back on his feet just as quickly, trading blows with Takeshita until both men fall to the mat from the impact.
The ref begins a count until tags are made to Buddy and Kyle, who quickly trade strikes until Fletcher tries to set Matthews up on the ropes for a DDT. Buddy escapes the grip, sending Kyle out of the ring before sending him down with a dive to the outside!
He brings Fletcher back in the ring for a Meteora off the top rope, but it’s only good for a two count as Kyle kicks out. Fletcher reverses a stomp with a half and half suplex into the corner, but is fended off by Matthews who kicks away Takeshita as Okada’s music hits. There is no sign of the Continental Champion however, as Fletcher intercepts him on the turnbuckle amidst some heavy boos. Matthews gets out of Kyle’s grasp before making the tag to Brody King, leading to a massive running cannonball by the big man!
Cover by Brody, but Takeshita gets the drop on him to break the pin! Takeshita brings Matthews to the apron for a piledriver, but Brody intercepts him. This gives Fletcher an opening as he catches King with a DDT from the ropes and the cover…but Brody kicks out!
Takeshita comes in for an assist as he and Fletcher lay into Brody, leading to an assisted suplex that gives Fletcher the pin and the win as Takeshita keeps Matthews away from breaking it up!
Winner: Don Callis Family via Pinfall.
Backstage: HOOK, Samoa Joe, The Patriarchy
As the Family celebrates, we cut to a look back at Collision as Samoa Joe beat Kip Sabian, only to deal with a beatdown from the Patriarchy before HOOK intervenes. Backstage, Joe is on a hunt for the Patriarch himself as he and HOOK beat down Sabian and Nick Wayne while a hiding Christian Cage peeks his head out to witness. Joe tells them to “tell your daddy I said hi” before they walk off, and Cage seems at least a little concerned as he checks on them before shoving the camera away.
In-Ring: MJF, Max Caster, Hangman Adam Page, Dustin Rhodes
SET MJF STRAIGHT, DUSTIN!
— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) February 6, 2025
Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on @TBSNetwork & @SportsOnMax@The_MJF | @DustinRhodes pic.twitter.com/afMOTAGgEh
Back at ringside, MJF heads down the ramp to seemingly speak for the millionth week in a row as the crowd shows a mixed reaction. MJF talks about how he had to teach Jarrett a lesson, which is that the E in AEW stands for Elite…not Elderly. Now that that “carny schmuck” is out of MJF’s way, he can focus on getting back his Triple B, because ain’t nobody on the level of the…
MJF is interrupted as Max Caster rushes in the ring, looking to hide from Hangman Adam Page. Page’s music hits as the Hangman stares down MJF, only to turn his attention back to chasing Caster through the crowd. The crowd tells MJF to “shut the F up” as MJF tries to hit his catchphrase again after running Page down, but this time it’s Dustin Rhodes interrupting as he heads to the ring. Rhodes tells MJF to shut his stupid trap, running the former World Champion for his remarks the past few weeks. He tells Friedman to keep Owen Hart’s name out of his mouth, or Dustin will kick his teeth in.
He tells MJF to stop talking about people’s wives and running people down for their past drug issues, as it’s something Dustin has been through. He is sixteen years sober, and has been through hell…but says MJF is not the devil.
Dustin says he is the last of his kind, and when he’s gone the mold will be broken forever. He is better than MJF and he frickin’ knows it. Dustin turns away as MJF responds by giving Rhodes a “round of applause” before running Rhodes down. He mocks Dustin by saying it took him 37 long years just to get out from under his dad’s shadow. This seems to strike a nerve with Dustin as MJF continues, saying after all that hard work and sacrifice, now Dustin lives in the shadow of his little baby br–this sets Dustin off as he blindsides MJF!
Security rushes down to break things up as Dustin goes after the former World Champion, who is escorted up the ramp…until he rushes back into the ring to blindside Rhodes! MJF makes his way back up the ramp as Christopher Daniels confronts him, but Friedman simply walks off before we go to ad break.
Queen Aminata vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm
The AEW Women’s World Champion has had enough of this “performance” from Timeless Toni Storm!

Back at ringside, Mariah May heads to commentary to our next match as Queen Aminata makes her entrance. Out next is “Timeless” Toni Storm, as Justin Roberts states from the card that she is “playing the role of The Glamour, Mariah May”…sure enough, using Mariah’s music and mannerisms as she heads down to the ring. We get a shot of May at commentary looking livid at Storm’s arrival to the ring, the crowd showing their appreciation for the performance as the match gets underway!
The two go at it from the opening bell, with Storm taking Aminata to the mat. We get a backstage peek at Serena Deeb watching on as the Queen takes control for a moment, until the former champ sends her to the ropes. Storm is forced out of the ring by Aminata, who hits a big dive sending Toni to the floor and pulls out some of the extensions being used for the Mariah performance as we go to ad break!
Back from break, “StorMay” is in control as she sends Aminata down to the mat from the corner. Dropkick connects but Toni only gets a two count. Both women are on their feet to trade strikes with Storm getting the upper hand. Aminata fights back with a German suplex to send the former champ down to the canvas, before connecting with a running boot to Storm’s face! She mocks the Timeless One before making the cover, but Storm kicks out.
Storm sends the Queen to the corner for a running hip attack, mocking the current champ as she drives Aminata to the mat with a May Day for the win!
Winner: “Timeless” Toni Storm via Pinfall.
Renee goes to interview Storm after the match, as Toni insists we call her Mariah May. She mocks the champion as she calls herself the Woman From Hell, stepping on the neck of the women’s division. This angers the real Mariah enough to step onto the apron, but chants of “which one’s which” only makes her more mad as she leaves up the ramp.
Backstage: Dustin Rhodes
Dustin Rhodes has lived forthe blood, sweat and tears of this business for 37 YEARS, and is ready show @The_MJF how he’s done it!

We go back to ringside for a special live edition of the “New York Edition” from the ALT…or as Bryan Keith points out, Appreciate Learning Tree. The crowd outside Atlanta chant “ATLhole” in response as Jericho talks about Bandido being the most wanted, addressing the swearing from the crowd telling him to shut the F up as he makes a challenge to Bandido for Collision. Big Bill starts to address Powerhouse Hobbs, but Hobbs rushes out to go after the big man. This leads to a beatdown from the Learning Tree, but not for long as The Outrunners run out to even the numbers!
The “New York Minute” graphics are still up as this goes down, by the way, with Hobbs fighting off the security before he and Big Bill step into the ring for a staredown that turns physical quickly. The action spills to the outside, where Hobbs lifts Bill onto the announce table to continue the fight. This continues until one of the camera operators is knocked down to the floor, seeming cutting this segment to black before we go to ad break.
Backstage: The Learning Tree, Powerhouse Hobbs, The Outrunners
We get a peek backstage as the brawl from earlier is still being broken up, before heading ringside for our main event.
Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet

Swerve Strickland makes his entrance, only to be blindsided with a chair shot by Ricochet! He lays some more into the former World Champion, sending him to the ring as the ref checks on Strickland. He insists he’s good to go and this match gets underway!
Ricochet catches Swerve with a Vertigo and the cover, but Strickland manages to kick out. Ricochet stays on the attack, laying into Strickland as the crowd rains boos upon him while chanting a reminder that he is, in fact, bald. Strickland fights back as the crowd chants this is Swerve’s House, but Ricochet sends him to the outside with a dropkick followed by a big dive into the barricade.
He sets Strickland up on the barricade, but is fought off by Strickland, who catches him mid-hurricanrana for a powerbomb right onto the barricade! The crowd is shocked as they chant, while Strickland drops down to the floor to pursue Ricochet to the corner.
He takes a turnbuckle pad off before driving the leg of Ricochet into it, furthering the damage as we go to ad break.
Back from break, Swerve and Ricochet are back in the ring and Strickland is in control as he heads up top for a Swerve Stomp…but Ricochet intercepts, sending him to the mat for a nearfall. Chants of “Who’s Bald? Ricochet” echo throughout the arena as Ricochet goes back on the attack, keeping Swerve down with some hard strikes.
Strickland catches him at the ropes, powering out of Ricochet’s grasp as the two trade reversals…until Swerve takes Ricochet to the canvas for the cover! Ricochet kicks out at two, keeping the match going!
Ricochet fights out of a half and half suplex, using the ropes to try and claw out of Strickland’s grasp but is dropped with a German suplex followed by a House Call. Swerve goes up top…and connects with a Swerve Stomp! Cover by Strickland…but Ricochet kicks out just before three!
The action heads to the apron as Swerve sets up for a Death Valley Driver, but Ricochet fights out. He goes for a running boot but is blocked by Swerve…only for Strickland to be sent to the floor with a German suplex off the apron! Ricochet sends him back in the ring for a 450 splash, but it’s only good for a two count. Shooting star press by Ricochet for the cover, and once again Strickland manages to kick out.
Ricochet heads to the corner for a Spirit Gun, but gets laid out with a House Call instead! Swerve goes up top for a Swerve Stomp…but Ricochet blocks him with a low blow. Spirit Gun finally connects, and a tough battle ends with a win for Ricochet!
Winner: Ricochet via Pinfall.
Prince Nana comes in to check on Swerve, but is shoved away as Ricochet steals the robe symbolic of The Embassy, showing it off as he heads up the ramp. A confirmation of MJF vs. Dustin Rhodes next week leads us to a shot of Swerve Strickland staring down Ricochet, saying the robe looks good on him as Dynamite comes to a close.
