Tiffany Stratton Comments on Charlotte Flair Being Reason She Got Into Wrestling

Sports Illustrated held a recent interview with current WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. One of the topics discussed included Stratton’s thoughts about how she hopes to cross paths with Charlotte Flair soon and possibly at WrestleMania due to Flair being the person who got her interested in pursing a wrestling career.

“Honestly, I think we could have a banger match. I feel like that’s a given. If it were me and Charlotte, I feel like we would probably have one of the best matches on the entire WrestleMania card. So, hopefully that happens. And if it does, I’m ready.

It would be a generational match. I got into wrestling because of her. I saw her on an episode of SmackDown one day, and she kind of inspired me to get into wrestling. It would just mean so much to my younger self if she would be my WrestleMania opponent.”

WWE has been rumored to be considering plans for a potential match between Flair and Stratton at WrestleMania 41.

Asuka Fan Stalker Incident Update – Asuka Says WWE & TKO Are Taking Protective Action

As noted before, Asuka recently has been dealing with a fan stalking situation and released a statement this past Thursday informing fans to not make any romantic or personal approaches toward her.

Asuka provided an update on Friday on Twitter stating that WWE and TKO are currently taking action to protect her from the stalker situation.

WWE Royal Rumble 2025 News & Notes

WrestleTix reported that WWE has sold and distributed around 66,120 tickets for tonight’s Royal Rumble 2025 event at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana as of Saturday morning.

WWE recently released their annual Royal Rumble “By The Numbers” video to hype up tonight’s event.

Netflix UK recently released a WWE Royal Rumble 2025 promotional video featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson among the WWE Superstars shown.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that NXT talent Roxanne Perez was spotted in Indianapolis on Friday ahead of WWE’s Royal Rumble 2025 event in the city. It was reported that it is currently not known if Perez will be competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble match at the event or if she is in town simply for other WWE-related business.

Fightful Select also reported that their sources stated that WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle had recently told those close to him that WWE had contacted him regarding him participating in something for this week’s Royal Rumble festivities and event.

ECW legend and former WWE and TNA talent Rhyno reportedly was also recently spotted at the hotel that WWE talent and staff are staying at this weekend in Indianapolis, according to PWInsider.

Shane McMahon’s son Declan McMahon recently announced on Twitter that he will be attending tonight’s Royal Rumble 2025 event in Indianapolis. McMahon stated “Can’t wait to be at the Royal Rumble tomorrow night in Indianapolis!!!“
