Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana featured Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson officially announcing that next year’s WrestleMania 42 event will be taking place at the Superdome in New Orleans.
This led to pyro going off on the stage and the big screen revealing that next year’s event will be taking place on Saturday, April 11th and Sunday, April 12th in the city.

This will be the third time that New Orleans would be hosting a WrestleMania event, following WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and WrestleMania 34 in 2018.
