As noted before, Lucha Libre AAA announced on Wednesday that they have officially vacated their AAA Tag Team Championship from Raj Dhesi & Satnam due to the titles not being defended in over 200 days. AAA also had stated that details regarding how new champions will be crowned would be announced in the future.
AAA provided an update earlier today posting a video featuring Jeff Jarrett. In the video, Jarrett stated that he has possession of the AAA World Tag Team Championship belts and will be making an appearance at AAA’s Rey de Reyes 2025 event on March 22nd in Mexico City, Mexico. Jarrett also stated that he will be defending the titles with a mystery partner of his choosing at the event regardless of what AAA Director Dorian Roldán has to say about his plans for the belts.
“I’m going to get on a plane, and I’m going to head to Mexico City. Rey de Reyes. I’m going to have one over my shoulder, and then I’m bringing a partner that is just perfect for this occasion. Because we’re going to defend those tag titles, whether you like it or not.”
. @RealJeffJarrett tiene un mensaje muy especial para México y para @dorianroldan:
