Will Ospreay Comments on Being Told That Triple H’s “Not in it for the Grind” Comments Were Directed at Him

During last year’s WWE WrestleMania 40 week, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque was involved in an incident revolving around comments me made during an episode of The Pat McAfee Show about how WWE did not want to sign people who wanted to work less and were not in it for the grind. Levesque’s comments were believed at the time to be directed at Will Ospreay over him not signing with the company. In an AEW Dynamite show afterwards, Ospreay responded insulting Levesque saying that the only reason he was in the position he was in was due to him “grinding on the boss’ daughter” and him being in no position to tell him what the grind is all about because Levesque has no idea what he fights for.

A recent episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast featured Ospreay as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Ospreay’s thoughts about the exchange between the two.

“He didn’t say my name.”

Ospreay also gave his thoughts about being told by others that Levesque’s comments were directly about him and why Levesque was talking about him.

“He was. I’ve got people that I won’t throw under the bus who said, ‘Yeah, it’s about me.’ I won’t throw anyone under the bus, but it was about me. I’m not taking it personally in that, ‘Oh, it hurt my feelings.’ It’s like, you take a jab at me, I’ll take one back. There’s nothing horrible about it. I don’t hate the guy. I’ve never met him. How can I hate someone that I’ve never met? I’ve never spoken to him. I have an agent who talked to everyone and I told everybody about my situation and why I wanted to remain in the UK, which is why that hurt me a little bit. Not to the point where it keeps me up at night. Okay, you take a jab at me, I take one back. That’s it. We’re done.”

Jeff Jarrett Comments on Not Thinking About His Retirement Match or Opponent Yet

WrestleZone held a recent interview with Jeff Jarrett. One of the topics discussed included Jarrett’s thoughts about his current final run for his wrestling career.

“I learned from an early, early age, the wrestling fans are what put groceries on the table. So, if they’re going to spend their money to come. Buy a ticket, buy a t-shirt, nowadays, buy pay-per-view, whatever it may be. You gotta give them their money’s worth at the end of the day. I don’t ever want to be sitting, proverbially, on the rocking chair and say, ‘Man, I wish I would have…’ fill in the blank. So, living with no regrets, and so my mind’s made up. It got made up right at the end of the year. We’ll see what the year brings. January was super busy, and a lot of moving parts, and I’m reevaluating as the story goes now, but we’ll see where the future takes me.”

Jarrett also gave his thoughts about him not thinking about his retirement match or final opponent yet.

“[I haven’t thought about that] at all. Yeah, I’ll say this as of today, March 5, as we’re headed into Revolution now, I’ll be a part of Zero Hour. I certainly don’t have any of that [figured out]. I’m looking, like I always have, looking for the next opportunity, whether it comes next Wednesday or the following Wednesday or Saturday, whatever it may be.”

MJF Comments on “AEW Is Growing All Over Again Because We’re Putting Out Great Content. The Great Content Is Me.”

A recent episode of the SI Media with Jimmy Traina podcast featured MJF as the guest. One of the topics discussed included MJF’s thoughts about AEW slowly growing back again as a company and him claiming to be the reason for it.

“AEW, slowly but surely, is growing all over again, because what we’re doing right now is we’re putting undoubtedly great content out. The great content is me. It’s got nothing to do with Tony Khan, he’s a fucking moron, it’s got everything to do with me. You’re tuning in to see me. I’m back, and I’ve been back, and I’m interesting, and I’ve been interesting. We’re on a tear right now and people are very interested to see me and Hangman go at it.”
