This match was notable for being Takeshita’s official in-ring debut for CMLL.

Following the match, Angel de Oro hugged Takeshita and gave a speech thanking him for the match. Angel also told Takehita that he is welcomed to return to the Arena Mexico at any time. Takeshita responded back with hug in appreciation.
