WWE announced that they will be inducting matches into their WWE Hall of Fame starting with this year’s class of inductees.
During Friday’s live broadcast of WWE SmackDown in London, England, a video aired featuring the iconic No Disqualification Submission match of Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret “The Hitman” Hart from WrestleMania 13. This match featured Ken Shamrock as the special guest referee and was notable for the iconic double face/heel turn moment by Austin and Hart.
It was announced that this match will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a WWE Immortal Moment for the inaugural match to receive this honor.
It was also announced that Austin and Hart will be in attendance for the induction at next month’s Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This match joins WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Michelle McCool, Lex Luger, and The Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon) as the currently announced members for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
