As noted before, Rusev, former Miro in AEW, recently signed an official contract with WWE for a return to the company in the future.
A recent Fanatics Live Signing event at the WWE World in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Big E and Tyler Breeze as the hosts. One of the topics discussed included Big E confirming Rusev will be returning to WWE soon after him and Breeze pulled out a Rusev 2017 card in a WWE trading card pack they had opened up.
“Someone who has just been announced to return. I actually reached out to him and he confirmed that the news is indeed true. I don’t know when he’ll be back. A blast from the past and now very topical because he just announced he is returning to the squared circle in World Wrestling Entertainment.”
