In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, Game Changer Wrestling owner Brett Lauderdale denied rumors and claims that GCW has ever received any money from WWE or any other wrestling promotions for their shows.
This fan stated “You are not independent when you are taking money from the Fed. You lost all credibility little bro.” Lauderdale responded back stating “To date: GCW has received $0 from “the fed”, aew, tna, or any other wrestling promotion.“

Lauderdale also responded to the online fan criticisms of GCW promoting WWE and WWE ID talents for their shows.
This same fan also stated “You sure do love flaunting that fed ID logo though don’t you? When have you ever promoted AEW, Tna or any other promotion you are supposedly not working with like you do the fed?” Lauderdale responded back stating “We have never once included “wwe id prospect” on a gcw match graphic.“

GCW most recently hosted a WWE ID Championship Tournament event as part of their The Collective series of events this past week in Las Vegas, Nevada as part of WWE’s WrestleMania 41 weekend in the city.
