Bryan Danielson has been absent from AEW since his full-time in-ring retirement match at this past October’s AEW WrestleDream 2024 event. Danielson has yet to undergo neck surgery to repair his neck and has been considering other options instead.
JNMEDIAUK held a recent interview with Danielson. One of the topics discussed included Danielson’s thoughts about a potential in-ring return in the future currently being a “risk versus reward” situation for him.
“So it’s not no chance, but it’s risk versus reward at this point, right? I want to be able to live comfortably with my wife and kids.
One of the things our society has a real problem with is realizing when enough is enough, and I’m very satisfied with my career, and I think enough is enough, you know?”
Danielson also gave his thoughts about which wrestlers he has had the best chemistry with in the ring.
“I’ve always had great chemistry with Jon Moxley, I’ve always had great chemistry with Claudio Castagnoli. In AEW, I had great chemistry with Hangman Adam Page, and he’s fantastic. I’ve only wrestled him twice, but I had great chemistry with Swerve Strickland, so there’s a lot of guys on that list.”
