As noted before, Thekla was “fired” from Stardom following her loss to Sayaka Kurara and her attacking Stardom President Taro Okada at this past Sunday’s All Star Grand Queendom 2025 event in Yokohama, Japan. Thekla is currently expected to be heading to the United States for the next destination for her wrestling career.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that Thekla’s contract with Stardom had recently expired and she is currently preparing for a move to the United States. It was reported that this move for Thekla has been in the works for some time.
In regards to interest from American promotions towards Thekla, it was reported that those spoken to within WWE stated that the company has been monitoring Thekla for a potential signing. Those within AEW reportedly stated that their company also had expressed a strong interest in bringing Thekla in.
It was reportedly that multiple independent promotions have also reached out to ask if Thekla was open to accepting upcoming bookings with their companies.
In regards to the potential next destination for Thekla’s career, it was reported that those within AEW currently believe that she is headed to their company.
