As noted before, Liv Morgan will be taking a break from WWE for a new filming project that will be officially unveiled next week. WWE currently has big plans for Morgan next week related to this new film project.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources within Hollywood confirmed that the project Morgan will be involved with is not a superhero film but instead a major dramatic role.
One source spoken to described Morgan landing the role as ” one of the most impressive ‘gets’ imaginable.” This same source reportedly also stated that when the studio involved is revealed, along with the caliber of talent both on screen and behind-the-scenes, it will be clear just how prestigious this project is for Morgan.
Another source spoken to reportedly described it as the kind of opportunity that could “cement” Morgan as the next “it girl” in Hollywood if she and the project hit as internally projected.
Johnson reported that WWE, the film studio, Paradigm Talent Agency, and Morgan are all working closely to coordinate filming schedules while still maintaining her Judgement Day storyline continuity in WWE due to her currently being one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Fightful Select reported that those spoken to close to Morgan claim that her film role is one that “people’s jaw will drop” when the official announcement comes.
It was reported that this upcoming film does not appear to be on anyone’s radar in terms of surprise.
