Backstage Update on WWE’s Lack of Plans for Chelsea Green for WrestleMania 41 – Several Creative Pitches That Were Made Green
As noted before, WWE recently announced the full cards for both nights of WrestleMania 41 on April 19-20 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The reason for the omission of a WWE Women’s United States Championship match is due to WWE’s lack of plans for Chelsea Green for the show.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that despite WWE’s lack of plans for a match for Green at WrestleMania 41, there were several creative pitches that were made for Green for the event.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that several pitches included the idea of Green hosting the show and her feud with Zelina Vega leading to a match.
Another pitch reportedly involved Green holding an open challenge match for her title and some of the names discussed as opponents included Alexa Bliss and Nikki Bella.
It was reported that they have not heard of any plans being adjusted for Green but those spoken to stated that there is a possibility things could get added to WrestleMania as the format is finalized and things are adjusted.
Triple H Comments on Fans Saying He Should Pivot on Storylines Being “No We Don’t. You Don’t Know Where It’s F*cking Going”
WWE’s Peter Rosenberg held a recent interview with WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque. One of the topics discussed included Levesque’s thoughts about fans saying that he should pivot on his booking for storylines and why he is not going to let fans tell him where to take specific storylines.
“One thing that Killer [Kowalski] said to me in the very beginning is, ‘You fucking work them, they don’t work you. You tell them where it goes, they don’t tell you where it goes. You listen to them, you adjust accordingly, you try to think where they will go emotionally, but at the end of the day, we work them. This is, to me, where it gets fun. Look, nobody’s perfect, right? At the end of the day, you start to do some things, and if it’s not working, you go different directions or whatever that is. You pivot, maybe you don’t. That’s the new word in the Internet now, pivot. You’ve got to pivot. We don’t like it, you have to pivot — no we don’t. You don’t know where it’s fucking going. There’s no pivot that needs to happen cause we know where it’s going.”

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Roman Reigns gave his thoughts about his support of current President Donald Trump. Reigns stated “I support our president. Trump is one of those guys where he’s got a vast history and a huge background. He’s been in entertainment. He’s been in big business, politics. At this point, I’m supporting a bright future for our country. Positive and competent leadership. For us to be what we’re supposed to be—to be a world leader and carry that respect and do what a world power like us should be doing.” Reigns also gave his thoughts about his choice in the 2024 Presidential Election. Reigns stated “One person was giving us information. One person was answering questions, so it wasn’t that hard.” Reigns also gave his thoughts about how he does not support everything Trump does. To be honest, the world seems to be more like wrestling than any other form of entertainment.” This interview was stated to have been held prior to this past February’s WWE Royal Rumble 2025 event.
