Roxanne Perez & Giulia Main Roster Call-ups Status Update

NXT brand talents Roxanne Perez and Giulia have made appearances for WWE’s RAW brand over recent RAW shows. Monday’s RAW show featured Perez competing against Rhea Ripley and Giulia making a surprise appearance to attack Ripley while the prior week’s RAW After Mania show featured Perez & Giulia making a surprise appearance to attack Stephanie Vaquer and IYO SKY.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that Perez and Giulia have been officially called up WWE’s RAW brand.

Johnson reported that Perez and Giulia’s main roster call-ups were made official following their appearances on the April 21st episode of RAW.

Both Perez and Giulia had worn official “RAW debut” patches on their ring gear as part of WWE’s recent deal with Topps to sell as special WrestleMania 41 related WWE trading cards.

Carmella & Corey Graves Announce They Are Expecting Birth of Second Child

NXT commentator Corey Graves and former WWE talent Carmella announced on Instagram that they are currently expecting the birth of a second child for their family.

Graves and Carmella announced that their new child is currently expected to be born this Fall.

Carmella gave birth to their first child in November of 2023.

Backstage Update on Nixed WrestleMania 41 Plans from WWE Unreal Trailer

As noted before, the recently released debut trailer for WWE’s upcoming WWE Unreal docuseries on Netflix was notable for featuring brief shot of a whiteboard in WWE’s creative room that had a list of potential matches for WrestleMania 41 scribbled on it. Several of these matches ended up not taking place on the show for various reasons.

Fightful Select reported that several WWE talents spoken to stated that they had heard whispers about certain WrestleMania matches involving them but they were never formally approached by WWE officials about the ideas.

Several talent spoken to reportedly stated that they only found out that they were once penciled in for a WrestleMania match after seeing the trailer. This reportedly left some talent being surprised and other talents being disappointed.

In regards to Asuka’s name being included on the potential matchups list, it was reported that her name being on the list was one of surprise within WWE. Those spoken to reportedly stated that her appearance on the board was viewed as being “very ambitious” due to the uncertainty about her being medically cleared in time for the event.
