Carmelo Hayes Wins 2025 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Carmelo Hayes winning this year’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

This match featured Hayes, Rey Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura, Carlito, R-Truth, Berto, Angel, Elton Prince, Kit Wilson, Tyler Bate, Santos Escobar, Akira Tozawa, Otis, Brutus Creed, Julius Creed, Grayson Waller, Austin Theory, Chad Gable, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Karrion Kross, Dragon Lee, Ludwig Kaiser, The Miz, Pete Dunne, and Andrade.

This was Hayes’ first ever Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal victory of his WWE career.


Randy Orton Issues Open Challenge Match for WrestleMania 41 Night 2

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match announced for the card of WrestleMania 41 Night 2, which takes place on April 20th at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This new match announced was an Open Challenge match of Randy Orton vs. mystery opponent.

This match was setup following Orton coming out to the ring and talking about how he does not have a match anymore for WrestleMania and issued an open challenge to anyone back in the locker room or anyone in Las Vegas who has wrestling boots.

New Mystery Person Video Airs Revealing April 25th Debut Date

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured a new mystery vignette airing teasing the arrival of a new mystery person to the SmackDown brand.

This video featured “4.25.25” flashing on the screen revealing that as the date for this mystery person’s debut appearance in WWE.

This new mystery vignette is currently speculated to be for the return of Aleister Black to WWE. Black was previously known as Malakai Black during his time in AEW.


Current Card for Next Week’s Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match announced for the card of next week’s show on April 25th at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

This new match announced was a WWE Tag Team Championship TLC match of #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) (c).

This match was setup following the recent bad blood issues involving all three teams and #DIY interfering and causing MCMG’s match with the Street Profits during the show to end by disqualification. DIY then left with the tag titles and tried to leave the arena only for SmackDown GM demand them hand over the belts and announced a TLC match for the titles on next week’s show.
