Jey Uso Wins WWE World Title at WrestleMania 41

Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 event at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Jey Uso defeating Gunther to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

This was Uso’s first ever World championship victory in his WWE career and his second ever singles championship victory in his WWE career as well.


New Day Wins WWE World Tag Titles at WrestleMania 41

Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 1 event also featured New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) defeating the War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions.

This was New Day’s twelfth World Tag Team Championship victory of their WWE career.


Jacob Fatu Wins United States Title at WrestleMania 41

Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 1 event also featured Jacob Fatu defeating LA Knight to become the new WWE United States Champion.

Following the match, wrestling legend Haku came out to ringside and celebrated with Fatu.

This was Fatu’s first ever championship victory in his WWE career.


El Hijo del Vikingo Makes Appearance at WrestleMania 41

Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 event also featured Lucha Libre AAA talent El Hijo del Vikingo making an appearance.

Prior to the start of the match between El Grande Americano and Rey Fenix, Vikingo was shown seated in the front row of the crowd. This led to El Grande confronting Vikingo and shoved him resulting in Vikingo hitting El Grande with a kick in return dazing Vikingo.

Following El Grande’s victory over Fenix albeit with the use of a foreign metal plate object in his mack, Vikingo got into the ring and helped consult Fenix over his loss and picked him up to his feet.

Vikingo’s appearance was part of WWE’s announcement of their acquisition of AAA earlier today during the Countdown to WrestleMania 41 pre-show.


WrestleMania 41 Night 1 Attendance Announced

Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 1 event also featured WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels announcing that the official attendance for the show was 61,467.

WrestleTix reported that WWE had sold and distributed around 55,976 tickets for the show as of Saturday morning.
