Megan Bayne vs. Anna Jay

The music of Megan Bayne hits, as she makes her way out and to the ring. Penelope Ford is with Bayne, as Ford storms to the ring. Next up is the music of Anna Jay, as she comes out with Harley Cameron. Both ladies make it down to the ring.

The bell rings as we are underway. Bayne picks up Jay and sends to the corner, hitting her with shoulder blocks. Bayne chops Bayne, as Jay fights back. Jay nails Bayne with a dropkick. Jay is on the apron. Ford pulls the leg of Jay as the ref is distracted by Bayne. Jay is sent to the floor by Ford. Bayne goes to the outside and sends Jay into the barricade. Bayne grabs Jay and picks her up, dropping her back first on the apron. Bay waves to the camera. Jay rolls back in the ring, as Bayne follows. Bayne covers Jay, but she kicks out at two. Bayne picks up Jay and applies a bear bug and then delivers and belly to belly…Bayne misses a kick as Jay hits Bayne with a backstabber and sends her to the corner…Bayne recovers and picks up Jay who is on the apron. Jay uses the middle rope to take down Bayne. Bayne charges at Jay, who pulls the rope as Bayne goes over the top…Jay takes out Ford and Bayne on the floor…the action goes back in the ring. Jay covers Bayne, but she kicks out…Bayne recovers and picks up Jay, but she counters with a DDT. Jay covers Bayne, but she kicks out at two. Jay applies a sleeper on Bayne, who is still on her feet. As the ref is distracted, Ford gets the top turnbuckle pad…Cameron takes down Ford, as the two women fight to the back. Jay sends Bayne into the exposed turnbuckle and the covers Bayne after she hits the mat. Bayne kicks out at two. Jay is sent to the exposed turnbuckle back first. Bayne picks up Jay and drops her on her hips and then picks up Jay again, dropping her with the Faints Decent, to get the win.

Winner: Megan Bayne via Pinfall.

Kyler Fletcher vs. AR Fox

As the bell rings, Fox turns his head briefly, as Fletcher kicks Fox in the head. Fletcher then puts the boot to Fox. Fletcher chops Fox, who comes back with a big kick, but Fletcher fights back, but its not enough as Fox kicks Fletcher in the face. Fox is up on the ropes holding onto Fletcher. Fox drops Fletcher who hits the floor. Fox runs the ropes, but Fletcher makes it in the ring and catches Fox in mid air and then drops him on his back!

-FULL COMMERCIAL BREAK (ON MAX)-

Back from the break, Fletcher and Fox are up on the ropes. Fletcher is sent down, but he gets up and drops Fox. Fox then sends Fletcher down, but he gets up…Fox then hits Fletcher with a cutter. Fox covers Fletcher for only a two count. Fox grabs Fletcher and tries to pick him up, but Fletcher blocks it, dropping Fox. Fletcher runs the ropes as Fox ducks and sends Fletcher on the apron. Fox then sends Fletcher to the floor with a shadow stomp. Fox then runs the ropes and lands on Fletcher on the outside. Fox sends Fletcher back in the ring. Fox, from the top rope, misses the 450. Fletcher the picks him up and drives Fox on his back and shoulders. Fletcher hooks the leg, but Fox kicks out at two! Fletcher runs the ropes and connects with a big boot on Fox…Fox comes back with a big kick on Fletcher, but he comes back with a big kick in the back of head and picks up Fox, dropping him with a big brain buster to get the pin.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher via Pinfall.

Trios Match
Don Callis Family (Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, & Lance Archer) vs. Bandido, Tomohiro Ishii, & Brody King

The bell rings as we are underway. Ishii takes out Trent, as Archer comes in…King is tagged in…King and Archer exchange blows in the center of the ring. King’s chop is blocked, but he nails Archer with a big boot, sending him to the floor. King leaps through the ropes and takes down Archer. King chops Archer who is sitting in a chair at ringside. King runs at Archer, but Trent nails him with a big boot.. .

Back from the break, Ishii suplexes Romero and covers him, but Trent makes the save. Ishii fights off Romero and Trent, as Archer comes in taking down Ishii and King. Romero goes to the top and comes off, as Bandido sends Archer to the floor. Bandido drops Romero with a cutter, as Ishii and King enter the ring. Ishii, King and Bandido triple team Romero with drop kicks. King connects with a big cannonball on Romero to get the win.

Winner: Bandido, Tomohiro Ishii, & Brody King via Pinfall.

After the match, Archer Trent and Romero attack the winners…the music of The Outrunners hit, as they run to the ring to make the save. The Outrunners run off Archer, Trent and Romero!


Backstage: Paragon, Grizzled Young Veterans

We go backstage with Paragon talking to Lexy Nair. Adam Cole says he will put his his TNT title on the line and challenge anybody. For the second week, Grizzled Young Veterans issue a challenge for next to Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong for a match.


Blake Christian vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey

The bell rings, as we are underway…Blake puts out his hand for a handshake, but then pulls it back. Bailey nails Blake with a big kick…Bailey then hits Blake with a series of kicks. Blake recovers and sends Bailey to the floor. Blake comes off the apron, nailing Bailey. Bailey goes back in the ring. Blake comes off and connects with a 450 splash on Bailey and covers him, but he kicks out at two. Blake uses the bottom rope to choke Bailey. Blake picks up Bailey, but he escapes out of it and kicks Blake, who then goes to the apron and leaps over the ropes. Bailey connects with a thrust kick on Blake. Bailey chops Blake, as both men exchange chops in the center of the ring. Bailey tells Blake to bring it. Blake kicks Bailey, but he fires back with a big kick, sending Blake to the floor. Bailey then goes to the top and lands on Blake with a big moonsult. Blake goes back in the ring, as Lee distracts Bailey, which allows Blake to run through the ropes taking out Bailey…the action, back in the ring, see both men on the top turnbuckle…both men come down, as Bailey connects with a big spin heal kick on Blake and covers him for the pin.

Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey via Pinfall.

After the match, Bailey calls out Okada and challenges him to a title match. The music of the Rainmaker hits, as slowly walks out with a mic in hand. Okada calls Bailey a B—-. From behind, Dralistico and Rush attack Bailey, while Okada looks on and then walks to the back. Rush headbutts Bailey, as he drops to the mat.

Chicago Street Fight Match
The Learning Tree (“Bad Apple” Bryan Keith & Big Bill) vs. Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun)

Back from the break, is the music for the Learning Tree, as Bryan Keith and Big Bill come out of the tunnel and head to the ring. Bill grabs a table from under the ring, as he and Keith set it up. Next up, is the music for Gates of Agony. Bishop and Toa head to the ring with garbage cans…the bell rings as Keith and Bill charge at GOA….Bill hits Kaun with a trash can. with then hits Kaun with a trash can. Bill sends Toa into the steel steps. Bill then hits Kaun with a big boot and then hits him with a steel sign. Keith chokes out Toa and then connects with a big boot to the side of the head. Kaun gets in the ring. He charges at Kaun and connects with a big clothesline. Kaun then drives Keith into the table as it break. Toa hits the ring, as he and Bill duke it out. Toa breaks a pool stick over his head and then hits Bill with it. Bill grabs one piece as both men taking turns hitting each other. Bill and Toa exchange blows in the center of the ring. Toa connects on Bill with a shoulder tackle. From behind, Kaun chokes out Bill with a cable and pulls him to the outside. Toa picks up Keith and drops him on the mat on the floor.

Back from the break, Gates of Agony double team Keith, but Bill recovers and sends Gates of Agony to the floor. Bill grabs Kaun and sends him to the barricade. Bill grabs a backpack. He pulls out bricks and sets up Kaun, but misses as the brick breaks on the ring post. Toa sends Bill over the top of the announce table. Keith then nails Toa with a garbage can lid, but it has not affect. Toa grabs the lid and hits Keith with it. Toa sets up Keith on the barricade. He charges at Keith, but is met with a trash can lid to the head. It doesn’t faze him, as he sends Keith over the timekeepers table. Kaun nails Bill with an object which I could not make out what it was…Kaun and Bill are back in the ring. Kaun hits Bill with a garbage can. Keith hits Kaun in the back with a trash can…Keith and Toa are on the ring apron. Keith headbutts Toa…Bill connects with a big boot on Toa, who drops off the apron and onto the table, which breaks in half. Keith picks up a piece of he table, breaking it over the head of Kaun, who gets up and laughs. Bill then nails Kaun with a big boot. Bill picks up Kaun and chokeslams him. Bill covers Kaun to get the win.


In-Ring: Steve “Mongo” McMichael Tribute

We now go to Tony Schiavone at the stage area for the Mongo tribute. Mongo’s window Misty comes out. She says that he was the greatest man she have ever known. They were married 27 years. Dean Malenko was then introduced. Tony runs down all of the accomplishments of Mongo in football. Tony then talks about Mongo’s accomplishments in WCW. May is ALS month. Tony then introduces Ric Flair. Flair’s music hits, as he makes his way out to the stage. He embraces Tony, Misty and Dean. Tony says tonight is very special and emotional for all…Flair says that Chicago is the greatest wrestling town in the world… Flair says Mongo is more man than he has ever known, as how Mongo fought the disease for six years and that now he is in heaven. Flair says he cannot say enough about Misty, how she never left Mongo’s side and learned to be a nurse…the fans start a Mongo chant. Flair thanks the fans and everyone for coming out.


The feed for the remainder of AEW’s taped show abruptly cut off on TNT following a commercial break to end the Steve “Mongo” McMichael tribute segment.

A text message was shown on the screen that stated “This event has ended.” A ticker the scrolled on the bottom of the screen that stated “Due to technical difficulties, AEW Collision is not airing tonight. Please check allelitewrestling.com for wrestling updates.”
