Mystery Spider Image Airs Again & Thekla Makes Surprise Debut on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Show
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas featured former Stardom talent “The Toxic Spider” Thekla making her surprise debut in AEW.
During the Mixed Trios match between the Death Riders & Gabe Kidd and Willow Nightingale, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, & Mark Briscoe, the same red spider image from recent AEW shows appeared again and crawled down from the top of the screen before leaving.
In a follow-up segment, Jamie Hayter came out to the ring for an interview with Renee Paquette to talk about what is next for her after her loss to Mercedes Mone in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Finals at Double or Nothing 2025. Hayter was quickly interrupted by the lights going out and a video airing on the big screen featuring a giant red spider logo and Thekla’s name being shown. This led to the lights coming back on and Thekla being seen standing in the ring over a fallen Hayter. Thekla then stepped over Hayter’s body and gave a spider pose to the camera.
Is that!? @Toxic_Thekla just leveled @jmehytr!
