As noted before, NXT and NXT EVOLVE talent Riley Osborne, real name Josh Terry, was among 15 talents released from WWE this past Friday. Osborne’s release was later revealed to have been due to non-wrestling factors.
Osborne recently issued statements revealing that he was recovery from surgery when he was released by WWE. Osborne stated that he had underwent surgery for his foot and ankle on March 7th and had been waiting to be medically cleared prior to his release.

Osborne had last wrestled for WWE at a NXT house show event this past February.
