As noted before, Jeff Cobb departed from New Japan Pro Wrestling this past April and is currently believed to have joined WWE. Cobb recently posted a cryptic tweet claiming he retired from wrestling which quickly led to online speculation of this possibly being a legit claim and him not going to WWE.
Figthful Select reported that their sources stated that Cobb is still heading to WWE and his retirement claim was just as a joke.
It was reported that it is currently not known which brand Cobb will join for his upcoming career in WWE.
In regards to Cobb’s new contract with WWE, it was reported that it was described to be a “good deal” for him.
