WWE reportedly is currently expected to sign several European indies talents to official contracts with the company, according to Cultaholic and Fightful Select.
Cultaholic’s Aidan Gibbons reported that his sources stated that WWE are currently expected to sign Aigle Blanc and Mike D Vecchio to developmental contracts with the company. Gibbons reported that Blanc and Vecchio are currently expected to start their careers with WWE by this September.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that Blanc and Vecchio are expected to be signed to WWE. Those spoken to reportedly also stated that WWE is also currently expected to sign Zozaya to a developmental contract with the company and he is also currently expected to start his career with WWE by this September as well.
It was also reported that all three had participated in WWE’s recent set of talent tryouts this past March in London, England.
Besides Blanc, Vecchio, and Zozaya, it was also reported that at least one more European-based talent signing could also be in the works but this is something that has yet to be confirmed.
WWE reportedly also currently remains interested in Goldenboy Santos but he is not expected to be signed to a potential contract in the immediate future due to him currently being sidelined with an injury.
Blanc is a French born wrestler and has been wrestling since 2014 for various European indies promotions including wXw and Revolution Pro Wrestling. Vecchio is a Belgian wrestler and has been wrestling since 2013 for various European indies promotions including wXw, RevPro, and PROGRESS Wrestling. Blanc and Vecchio also had recently competed in this year’s Champion Carnival tournament for All Japan Pro Wrestling.
