WWE reportedly held a mandatory all-talent meeting earlier this week, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials held a Zoom meeting with all of their talents this past week. Those spoken to reportedly stated that this meeting was primarily about the different medical techniques, including PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and stem cell therapy, that several talents have been undergoing in recent years. Those spoken to reportedly also stated that this meeting was designed to bring talents up to date on what has been scientifically proven so far about those therapies and was more educational in tone in terms of discussion.
WWE officials also reportedly brought up what aspects of these types of medical therapies currently do not have enough specific data to prove their worth to use.
Johnson reported that this was a discussion meant to help talent have more of an informed decision if and when they are exploring potential treatments and not something that WWE was condoning or waving them away from it.
