Monday’s NJPW New Japan Soul 2025 event in Tokyo, Japan featured Callum Newman and Drilla Moloney qualifying for this year’s G1 Climax 2025 tournament.
Newman defeated Taichi in a A Block Play-in match to advance to the A Block of this year’s tournament.
Moloney defeated Tomohiro Ishii in a B Block Play-in match to advance to the B Block of this year’s tournament.

The final set of Play-in Qualifying matches will be taking place on NJPW’s New Japan Soul 2025 event on July 4th in Tokyo. These final set of matches are Ryohei Oiwa facing off against Don Fale in a A Block Play-in match and YOSHI-HASHI facing off against Chase Owens in a B Block Play-in match.
