As noted before, Japanese wrestler Daisuke Sekimoto suffered a serious injury at Big Japan Pro Wrestling’s event on May 29th in Tokyo, Japan that was originally believed to be spinal related.
Big Japan provided an update on Saturday on Twitter stating that Sekimoto is currently recovering at his home and he will be undergoing further testing on Tuesday, June 2nd.
It was also announced that Sekimoto will be out of action for the company for at least all of June and his in-ring return will be determined after consultation with doctors.
[Added June 1, 2025] Daisuke Sekimoto is currently recuperating at home and is scheduled to undergo further examinations at a hospital in Yokohama from tomorrow onwards.
He will miss the matches in June, and we will consult with the doctor and him personally and make decisions regarding July onwards, with his health as the top priority.
